Zarija and I are high school sweethearts; we meet at Eastern Hills Senior High School while studying the Hospitality, Tourism and Business Vocational course.

Zarija proposed over dinner on the 14th of October 2004, and we got married on September 14th 2008 at Caversham House, Caversham, with the reception following at the Rydges Hotel in Perth.
